General Support to Sustain the Mission
as renunciates walking the path of Dhamma, monks rely upon the material support of lay people to meet their basic needs. This frees monks’ time and energy to study, practice, embody, and share the wisdom of Buddhism with these supportive lay people whose personal spiritual practice can’t always take precedence amidst the time-consuming responsibilities that comprise a householder’s lifestyle.
In addition to this general dynamic of exchanging material for spiritual support that is characteristic of the lifestyle of all Buddhist monks, the Wisdom Age Initiative’s charitable projects–more specifically–involve curating educational material with the aid of tech hardware & software, paying professionals to ensure high quality output, running complex, live events and retreats, traveling internationally, and many more cost-incurring realities that make operations possible.
If you would like to support our spiritual path, help us operate more sustainably, and deepen the impact of our work, you can make a one-time or recurring donation via the Givebutter form or the buttons below. Any amount is deeply appreciated and will be used with utmost consideration and mindfulness. Non-US currencies can be accepted for an exchange fee. For U.S. donors, please note that a tax deductible receipt will be emailed to you upon submission (Tax ID# : 33-3355211).

Book Printing for Free Distribution
The Mission
As of Jan 1, 2026, Ven. Nick & Ven. Michael have given away just shy of 24,000 free copies of their books to those who were able to visit the meditation centers where they stay and have traveled to or attend the events they have run around the world. This was made possible by the support of many generous donors who helped cover over 25 rounds of printing and shipping costs.
Your donations will enable WAI to continue to sustainably provide free access to all of their books to many people around the world. (Please note our previous GoFundMe campaign has been discontinued to make way for a more robust donation system that will provide smoother payment processing & automated tax deductible receipts)
This $10,500 target for 2026 will enable 7 rounds of printing 1,000 books, an amount that historically has been given out in a single year.

Printing, Costs, & Impact
Each round of printing of 1,000 copies is roughly $1,500 USD (slightly variable depending on which book is being printed) when printed in Thailand, and 2.5 times more expensive when printed in other countries. Shipping costs can also add up for bigger orders. With three books (plus a journal) total, the goal for 2026 is to give away at least another 7,000 copies, hence the $10,500 target. With your help, we may be able to reach or exceed this goal.
Your generosity will help individuals discover how to incorporate wholesome habits of morality, meditation, and generosity into their lives and help them light their inner candle of goodness to make the world around them and at large a brighter place.
Stay tuned for our 5th book release later this year in 2026 which will help to bridge mental health with spiritual health via a model that helps practitioners balance every dimension of their lives with wisdom!
